HELLO, IT’S ME
Nicknamed “St. Louis’s Queen of Color” by the Ladue News, Jessica Hitchcock is a St. Louis based artist that creates boldly colorful paintings. Hitchcock started painting in 2015, and what began as a hobby grew into a flourishing art business. In 2019, she made the decision to leave her career as Director of Finance and Human Resources and focus on her art business full time.
She creates paintings in collections available through her website and she also works with designers and individual clients to create custom commissions for their spaces.
Her artwork is installed in corporate offices, health facilities, and boutique hotels across the US along with private collections throughout 7 countries: Italy, The Netherlands, Mexico, The United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and the United States.
Jessica earned her BBA from the University of Illinois Springfield with honors. In addition to creating joy-filled paintings, she uses her business background, her 10+ years working in the finance/corporate realm, and her first hand experience growing her art business over the past 7 years to help other artists establish a sustainable foundation for their art careers. She coaches artists through 1:1 mentorship, hosts free talks, and offers programs and courses.
A few of her favorite things include: learning Italian, running, and eating pizza.
She’s also a self-proclaimed nap enthusiast.
